Black Women Channel® is a Full service OTT Streaming platform, with the sole objective of creating content for the under served black female audience. Spotlighting some of the most enjoyable films, Tv shows and documentaries, Black Women Channel® continues to offer positive images and stories through a wide array of genres.

CEO and Founder

Jessie L.Levostre, graduated from The Academy of Paris with a Bachelors’ degree in Business. She has produced numerous feature films and TV series. Her company, Nu-lite Media, an indie production company, is behind such classics as the revisionist western: Gang of Roses, The comedy “Nora’s hair salon”, the highly publicized and controversial; “Color of the cross”, and most recently the “Chocolate city” Franchise with “Chocolate city 3” scheduled to be released in 2021. To Jessie, Black women channel is an answer to the lack of diversity in programming in Hollywood. The Black women population has been an underserved audience in Hollywood for far too long. Creating a platform specifically targeting black women all over the world, has been Jessie’s goal for years. It is with a great deal of excitement that Jessie is finally bringing this platform to her audience because Black Women matter.

Marie Y Lemelle

More than 20 years ago, California native Marie Y. Lemelle established Platinum Star Public Relations, a certified woman-owned minority business, to assist under-served businesses achieve their goals through positive and consistent exposure. Ever evolving, her clients have covered the gamut from boxing to the entertainment, film, and music industry and from health and wellness, corporations and to nonprofit organizations that provide services to military veterans and other vulnerable populations.

Ms. Lemelle earned a Master's in Business Administration from the University of La Verne. Her Bachelor of Science degree was obtained from Excelsior College. Marie also received a Professional Certificate in Journalism and Public Relations at UCLA. She earned a Certificate of Cultural and Diversity from the City of West Hollywood. Ms Lemelle will bring her wealth of experience to the Black Women Channel®. She is extremely excited to be part of the Team.

Brandi Burnside Boyde

VP of development

Brandi Boyd is an Actress, Rapper and Television Producer. She was part of the cast of Love and Hip Hop Season 2 & 3 and recently completed her first feature Documentary set to be released by Lifetime Network in July 2020 . A native of Los Angeles, and Godchild of late R&B superstar Whitney Houston, Brandi grew up around the entertainment business . "When Jessie approached me to be a part of the Black Women Channel®, it was a no brainer. I am honored and so happy to be part of this amazing company and will help bring uplifting and inspirational stories to my sisters.”
